I’m Doug. Here’s my main webpage if you want to know more about me.
I’m a data analyst who has been trying to learn R programming since early 2015. I figured the best way to learn was to start coding on a regular basis. So, that’s what this blog is.
As often as I can (originally, I was going to do it everyday, but that didn’t quite work out), I’ll be publishing some bit of code on this blog. Most of the time, it will be simplistic and unnecessary code that no one will ever use. But hopefully, over time, I can start writing some good stuff.
Most of what I write on here will be specifically about R, but I will also plan on sharing tips on Python, MongoDB, Rapid Miner, Talend, Hadoop, and other applications–as I will need to learn these as well. The plan, though, is to always circle back to and put an emphasis on R.
If you are new to R, I highly recommend you checking out my (R)esources page. It’s got everything you’ll need to get started.
Hope you find something helpful here…
